I have recently decided to step down as president of the company, which I have held for seven years since 2017, and to leave the company I have been involved with since 2001. Since my appointment as president, I have worked closely with Okudaira, the next president, to complement each other. During that time, Okuhira worked hard to improve the structure of the company and empower its human resources, creating a wonderful organization.
In 2019, we became independent from the Yahoo Group, and we decided that now was the time to pass the baton, thinking that we had the organizational strength to aim for a new stage without being bound by the precedents and successes we had since our founding.
