Reorganize Hitachi Systems Group’s business structure to continuously provide higher value-added services

Hitachi Systems, Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Setsuo Shibahara, Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo/hereinafter referred to as Hitachi Systems) is expanding its digital transformation (DX) and managed services business in the Shikoku region and providing high value-added services. We will reorganize the Hitachi Systems Group’s business structure with the aim of providing sustainable services. Specifically, on April 1, 2024, Shikoku Hitachi Systems Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Tatsuya Hirooka, Head Office: Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture/hereinafter referred to as Shikoku Hitachi Systems) will be merged with Hitachi Systems, and Hitachi Systems branch office. In addition, the maintenance and construction business will be transferred to Hitachi Systems Field Services, Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Ryo Hagiwara, Koto-ku, Tokyo/hereinafter referred to as Hitachi Systems Field Services). ■About the aim of business structure restructuring
(1) Utilizing the customer trust that Shikoku Hitachi Systems has cultivated over the years and the business knowledge and skills of its employees, we will collaborate with Hitachi Systems’ ability to handle large-scale, wide-area projects and know-how in DX/managed services. By co-creating with local partners, we will strengthen our ability to respond to various customer issues. Specifically, we will provide digitalization in the local government sector, ERP introduction and construction in the industrial and distribution sector, total support using advanced case studies in the financial sector, and furthermore, we will target all industries in collaboration with Hitachi Systems Field Service. This includes contributing to the promotion of carbon neutrality by supporting Green Transformation (GX). Additionally, by promoting human resource development rotation within Hitachi Systems, we aim to improve and accelerate skills.
(2) Hitachi Systems Field Service’s strengths include a service system that covers the entire Honshu region and a wide range of on-site capabilities such as maintenance, construction, and business support that utilize IT and OT skills to strengthen field service capabilities in the Shikoku region. Furthermore, we will contribute to the promotion of carbon neutrality by supporting green transformation (GX) by providing energy creation and energy saving systems to factories, offices, stores, etc.
(3) As the Hitachi Systems Group, we will further strengthen our one-stop IT services and further enrich our solution menu.
