Made-in-Japan specialty fashion brand “Factory” (operated by Lifestyle Accent Co., Ltd., head office: Kumamoto City) will release “Super120’s Wool Melton Pea Coat” jointly developed with Chiba Prefecture’s women’s formal factory “Sewing Asahi” in 2023. It was released on November 17th.
Due to great popularity, the first production run is all sold out. In order to respond to customer requests for resale, we have decided to produce additional products.

Flexible firmness. An elegant luster with depth. At first glance, you can tell that this fabric is of “high quality.” It is a melton material woven by Chodai Co., Ltd., which has a factory in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, which is Japan’s premier textile production area. The soft and elastic fabric creates a beautiful silhouette of the coat.
The raw material used is “Super120’s (17.5 micron)” wool.
The term “Super〇〇s” refers to the fineness of the wool fibers; the finer the fibers, the more supple they are, and when made into fabric, they produce an elegant luster similar to silk. “Super120’s” is the same thinness as used in high-end suits.

In order to make this collar three-dimensional, there is a slight difference in dimension between the outer fabric and the inner fabric of the collar.
By doing so, the collar will naturally draw a beautiful curve. Furthermore, in addition to this, we use a method called “Ise-komi”. This is a technique used to add roundness to flat fabrics, and is often used around the shoulders of jackets. The work of gathering the fabric by hand and applying steam or iron to partially shrink the fabric is done with the sense of a craftsman, so a wealth of experience is required.
