Start Line Co., Ltd. [1] What is a developmental disorder? ~How should I understand it? Developmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, have different characteristics for each person even if they have the same diagnosis, and the causes of what are considered disorders of brain function are not fully understood. I mentioned that it is difficult to understand the disability itself because there is no disability. Then, using the idea of the social model of disability, he explained the importance of recognizing people who have a disability in “working” and paying attention to the “environment” that is the “disability” for that person. .
