Adventure World (Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture) is #What are the animals doing at night? We will be holding a special winter event “Night Safari WINTER 2024” with the theme. Tours and pandas on a quiet safari under the stars after business hours,
In addition to observing the precious nighttime scenes of penguins, there are many tours where you can also interact directly with the breeding staff!
You can enjoy a special moment with animals that cannot be seen during the day.

Schedule: 31 days from Saturday, December 23, 2023 to Saturday, February 24, 2024
Event time: 5:00 p.m.
*The park closes at 5:00 p.m. Only those with a night safari participation ticket can enter.
*If you are only participating in the night safari, you do not need an admission ticket.
*If you wish to enjoy the park during normal business hours (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), a separate admission ticket is required. *Parking is free after 4pm.
*After 5pm, all facilities (including gift and food shops) other than those covered by the tour will be closed.

4 contents to enjoy
(1) Night safari hiking
A tour where you can freely walk through a night safari where about 15 types of animals hide. While observing the animals that are active from dusk to night, you can enjoy live commentary from zookeepers at four points: white tigers, lions, white rhinos, and golden takins. [Image 2

Tickets will also be sold at the reception area (in front of the Entrance Dome entrance gate) from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm.
*You can participate even in case of rain. If there is a risk of lightning, the event will be canceled and a refund will be provided. -Digital Stamp Rally-
We are holding a digital stamp rally event “Animal Quest Adventure” where you can participate using your smartphone! This is an
experiential event where you can participate in quests (three-choice animal quizzes) at various locations in Safari World and collect clear points in exchange for a “proof of quest accomplishment” (original wallpaper image).
(2) Safari Adventure ~ Kukutana Encounter with the Wild ~ (Required time: 210 minutes *Meals included)
After enjoying a special dinner at Safari Restaurant Jambo, board a guided vehicle driven by tour guide staff and depart for the evening safari. You can experience up close the tour guide staff’s last job of the day, animal containment, and watch white tigers, lions, and white rhinos return to their sleeping quarters from the safari. “Kukutana” means “encounter” in Swahili. Please enjoy the wild appearance of animals at night.

(3) Panda tour – What are pandas doing at night? ～(Time required: 40 minutes) In addition to observing the mother panda “Rauhin” and 5-year-old “Saihin” at night, which you can’t usually see, you can also see replicas of panda skulls, poop, and fallen hair. You can enjoy special lectures by breeding staff.

*You cannot see “Yuihin” and “Fuuhin” where you live at Panda Love on this tour. (4) Penguin tour – What are penguins doing at night? ~ (Required time: 40 minutes) You can enjoy an extraordinary space where you can listen to the cries of about 250 penguins while being surrounded by about 250 penguins at the marine zoo on a quiet night. The breeding staff will give a detailed lecture on the behavior of the penguins, each with their own unique personality.

Shirarahama Seaside Illumination “SHIRARAHAMA LIGHT PARADE by FeStA LuCe” is now being held!
The Shirarahama Light Parade Executive Committee will be holding a light-up project for the first time that will decorate the 620m long white sand beach with lights and sounds. During the period, various events will be held to enliven Shirahama. We hope that the various colored “lights” that will be created through this project, coloring Shirarahama Beach, will serve as a beacon for imagining “future possibilities.”
