■Background of creating chaos map
A common challenge in the healthcare industry is “increasing the level of continued use of services and making them more established, and generating profits sustainably.” When considering digital health services that have a high retention rate, we often expand our ideas by referring to precedent cases both overseas and in Japan.
In order to come up with effective ideas for increasing the rate of continued use, it is recommended that you first learn about the “elements” that encourage continued behavior and look at precedent cases related to each element. Therefore, we created a chaos map that organizes precedent cases both overseas and in Japan for each “continuation driver”, which is an element that encourages continued action.

After researching precedent cases and behavioral change theories in domestic and overseas healthcare businesses and conducting interviews with health experts, we announced in 2007 that we defined elements that should be incorporated into the development of services that have a high rate of continued use as “continuity drivers.”
