The Peace Boat returns to Yokohama Port with 1,800 passengers, with a large banner reading “Stop Killing Gaza” hoisted on the 70,000-ton cruise ship. The Palestinian ambassador to Japan and many ambassadors from the Arab diplomatic corps in Tokyo will also be in attendance to appeal for a permanent ceasefire!

During the Peace Boat’s 115th voyage around the world, large banners (30m x 5m) reading “Stop Killing Gaza” were displayed at Piraeus, Greece on November 3rd, Istanbul, Turkey on November 5th, and Port Said in Egypt on November 8th and 9th. was displayed on the ship, calling for an immediate ceasefire.
Since the 1990s, Peace Boat has been visiting Palestine and Israel, providing medical aid and stationery to Palestinian refugee camps, and inviting young people from both countries on board its ships for many years to engage in dialogue and exchanges aimed at peaceful
coexistence. Ta. We are also supporting the rebuilding of homes for Palestinian families who lost their homes in the 2019 Israeli airstrike on Gaza.
At the press conference, many ambassadors from the Arab Diplomatic Corps in Tokyo, who have been reporting on the large banner actions carried out at ports of call in Egypt and other places near Gaza, and calling on the Japanese government to call for an immediate ceasefire, will also be in attendance.
We also painted drops of “red tears” on the STOP KIILING GAZA banner as a sign of remembrance for the approximately 15,000 victims. We hurriedly called out people on the ship and over 100 volunteers participated and were able to paint.
