During the Q&A session, President Fujikawa responded to the question, “What can we do to increase profits?” “We don’t have a central kitchen, so we have a system that allows us to flexibly change the menu,” and “We have increased the average price per customer. There was a lively exchange of opinions, such as, “Rather than raising the number of seats, it would be better to increase the number of customers by changing from multiple seats to single seats.”
In his closing remarks, Toru Yusa, dean of the Graduate School of Social and Cultural Sciences, mentioned that Issai Sato’s “Konshi Shiroku” is being used in employee training at Saint-Marc Holdings, and expressed President Nasu’s management philosophy for the university. We introduced the common points with “Fuji Fuku”. The School of Economics will continue to develop highly skilled human resources who will support the local community through educational and research activities in collaboration with the local business community. Please look forward to Okayama University as it continues to promote co-development and co-creation as a regional core and distinctive research university.
