The film label NOTHING NEW (Representative: Kentaro Hayashi) has released “VOID (work in progress)”, the first film directorial work by Yusuke Iwasaki, a genius who has directed many strange commercials. The key visual and trailer have been released.
Asaki is a high school student who lost a friend in an unexpected accident. A little strange phenomenon begins to occur around them. This work will be shown for the first time in the first horror short film collection “NN4444” as “NOTHING NEW”‘s first original work, which will open from 12:00 AM on Friday, December 8th. This is the third released film following Natsuki Nakagawa’s “Inu” and Keisuke Sakuma’s “Rat Tat Tat.”

Hello, my name is Kohirai, and I’m a male. This movie is very scary. Unrest is creeping in everywhere. It’s an assortment pack of disquiet, just like the punctuation marks in the opening greeting. I think it falls into the category of short stories, but the horror is so intense that it burns your throat. I love scary movies like that. I’m happy to be able to be a part of this work. I hope that this scary and interesting Iwasaki work will reach many people.

Masaaki Hirai Born August 1, 1987 in Hyogo Prefecture. Belongs to Yoshimoto Kogyo. He formed a duo with his partner Urai, whom he met at university, and debuted in Osaka in 2011. In 2017, he moved his base of activities to Tokyo. In 2021, he advanced to the “King of Conte” finals for the first time and won runner-up. The following year, in 2022, he advanced to the finals of the M-1 Grand Prix for the first time, finishing in 4th place.
