■About Aichi Children’s Hospice Project
We have established a non-profit organization in Aichi to start children’s hospice activities, where children with life-threatening illnesses or disabilities, their siblings, and their families can live freely, happily, and as children at any time. In addition to moving forward with activities aimed at establishing the first hospice in the Tokai region, we began practicing pediatric palliative care even before the hospice was constructed. Building a children’s hospice requires construction costs in the billions and land. We will continue to move forward step by step towards building a children’s hospice by asking the local community and government for their understanding of the need and for their support. First of all, we aim to become a certified NPO corporation in 2025. In the near future, with your generous donations, we will build the first children’s hospice in the Tokai region in Aichi.

■Background of the initiative
Our official partner, Niyu-gumi Co., Ltd., has been supporting the Aichi Children’s Hospice Project since 2023, including by providing free space within its group company (Engen Expert Co., Ltd.) to the secretariat. In addition, while supporting FE Nagoya as an official partner from the 2023-24 season, we have connected with Aichi Children’s Hospice Project, which led to this partnership. In order to spread more understanding about the existence and role of children’s hospice and to widen the circle of support, we will work with Futama-gumi to engage in the “Living to the Fullest Together” initiative as part of FE Nagoya’s SDGs activities. We have decided to support you.
