We will be holding a one-day bus tour departing from and arriving in Osaka where you can experience the DIY renovation of an old folk house while experiencing the charms of Tokushima!
Set in a vacant house in Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture, there will be a workshop where you will learn from architects and craftsmen the key points of material selection and how to use tools, as well as learn about plastering, fixtures, and exterior wall paneling work, as well as Shikoku Ohenro 88. You can visit Ryozenji Temple (the No. 1 temple), which is known for its tours, and enjoy the experience of painting Otani ware, which has a tradition of over 230 years! Anyone who is considering moving to Tokushima, wants to DIY an empty house they own, or is interested in DIY is welcome to participate, regardless of whether they live in or outside the prefecture. We look forward to your participation!
