Purpose, requested background
The equipment that will be installed in a large-scale redevelopment project is expressed in an easy-to-understand manner. They requested that the content convey a sense of scale and solidity. Models can represent a variety of sizes, but the challenge was to represent each part of the equipment while viewing it at its actual size in a limited space.
Expanding and supplementing information with AR
Since the interior space, which is 4.8 meters wide and 1 meter deep, cannot fully explain the scale and structure, by combining it with an AR system, we have been able to expand the expressive range of the model and add additional information.

A work that takes advantage of the advantages of both models and AR By combining both a model that allows you to experience the real thing and AR that incorporates content that is difficult to express with a model, such as a sense of scale and solidity, we are able to express the maximum amount in line with customer requests. In recent years, AR has been increasingly used in place of models, but AR and models have different roles, and more effective expression can be achieved by using models together.
