The countdown event was held for the first time in four years since 2019. The original Bar & Dining TORRENT, which was dormant for a long time due to the coronavirus pandemic, has been revived and will now provide a space where you can casually enjoy drinking with
high-quality Shibuya-esque music. The genre of music is “City Pop,” which has attracted wide attention both domestically and
internationally. “STREAM = flow” expressed through music will connect the city and people of Shibuya, and pass the baton to 2024. On the day of the event, each person will be given a psyllium band to liven up the venue. In addition, we will prepare sparkling wine and an assortment of finger food plates to create a New Year’s Eve experience where you can feel the Shibuya culture and Shibuya locals.
In addition, on New Year’s Day, “SHISHIMAI NIGHT 2024” will be held to let you enjoy the lively night of Shibuya even more. A lion dance will be paraded around the hotel lobby and restaurant for about 15 minutes starting at 6:30 pm, in hopes of getting the lion to bite its head to ward off evil spirits. We planned this event to give many customers the opportunity to experience the traditional performing arts that have been popular during the New Year since ancient times, and to wish them happiness and good health in the new year. The lobby and restaurant are furnished in a vintage modern style, with bells and whistles ringing, and the humorous lion gestures that we are sure will be enjoyed by many foreign visitors to Shibuya.
Our hotel will be rebranded to “SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL” as the flagship hotel of the new lifestyle hotel brand “STREAM HOTEL” on January 16, 2024. We will continue to provide unique content that combines the unchanging goodness of the present, evolving creativity, and Shibuya’s unique values and expressions.

●Kunimondo Takiguchi (Streamline/CMT Production)
In 2003, he started his music career as Ryuunain. With the recent global city pop revival trend, the album “TOKYO SNIPER” has been highly acclaimed overseas as well. Toko Furuuchi, 131, Natsu Summer, and others participate in producing, providing music, and arranging. Under the name Ryuunain/Ijusanjuichi, he was in charge of the musical accompaniment for the NHK drama “Tario Revenge Agent Two”. In 2022, the album “Incomplete” featuring Yasuyuki Horigome (ex Kirinji) will be released. The latest work is “Distant Horizon” featuring Nao Kodama. In addition, from 2020, we will be releasing the “City Music Tokyo” series of compilation albums that select and supervise city music. As CMT Production, he is active in a wide range of fields, mainly music, including graphic design and branding.

● Natsu Summer
Born in Ehime, currently living in Tokyo. I grew up listening to city pop and reggae since I was a child living by the sea. Debuted as a city pop reggae singer in 2016 with the production of Kunimondo Takiguchi (Ryuuken). Released 4 albums and 12 singles. Participated in lyricist Masayu Urino’s 35th anniversary album, DJ EMMA and DJ SHIMOYAMA’s unit N.U.D.E, and Natsu Summer & Early Summer produced by DJ KAWASAKI. As a DJ, he is active in a wide range of fields, performing with Tatsuo Sunaga, Shuya Okino, Toshio Matsuura, MURO, DJ NORI, Hiroshi Kawabe, Tomoyuki Tanaka (FPM), Takeshi Kubota, etc. Her clear, cool and natural singing voice perfectly matches reggae meets city pop. A pioneer of today’s city pop reggae singers. In 2023, Nagatoshi Takamiya and CHINTAM’s new project Five II Four “Tanabata no Yoru, Kimi ni Aitai feat. Natsu Summer” 7-inch, collaboration song with French band Funkindustry “Loneliness” 7-inch & LP, Tokimeki Records ” Midnight Joke feat. Natsu Summer” 7-inch released. Original new song “THINK OF SUMMER” released on 10/11, “Natsu Summer & Dubsen” LP released on 10/18, and first MIX CD “Endless Natsu Summer” released on 10/25. “THINK OF SUMMER” 7-inch is also scheduled to be released on January 24, 2024.

● CALPISS The grooves of CALPISS, which draw out the world view depicted in the music itself and weave it like a story, always aim for a place beyond euphoria. In recent years, he has supported artists such as Daniel Wang, Dimitri From Paris, Rahaan, etc., and has also appeared at domestic outdoor parties such as Bonna Pot, SLICK, Frue Festival, Ringo Music Festival, Re:birth, and Ishinoko. In September 2022, he also appeared on “Boiler Room Tokyo” held at Shibuya Contact before it closed, which became a hot topic. Currently, he is hosting “CALPISS SOUR” at DJ BAR Tengu Shokudo in Sangenjaya.
