Author’s message
On a daily basis, we receive consultations from people who have various skin concerns and tell them how to care for them, with a focus on skin care. During this process, many of our customers were happy because their concerns were resolved, but at the same time, we also faced many issues that we couldn’t do anything about when it came to skin care. For example, if you have a high amount of sebum and your face becomes shiny, even if you wash your face more often, the same condition will return over time, and it is difficult to control the amount of sebum with lotion. I have told you that this can only be achieved by improving your lifestyle. What I need to do is help many people with their skin concerns and lead them to a positive state of mind.To do that, I want to go beyond skin care and truly help people through food. This led to the publication of this book.

Masakazu Shigeta
After working as a technician in the music industry, she began working as a cosmetics developer in 2002.
While studying under her uncle, who was a dermatology researcher, and pursuing the creation of cosmetics that can be used safely even on sensitive skin, she realized the importance of a five-sense approach that cultivates sensitivity.
In 2017, she founded the skin care lifestyle brand “OSAJI” and became its director. In 2021, the home fragrance incense specialty store “kako” (Kuramae, Tokyo) attached to the OSAJI store received favorable reviews, and in 2022, OSAJI, kako, which aims to harmonize the mind and body through fragrance and food, will open. Produced a shop complex (Kamakura/Komachi Street) with the restaurant “enso”. In 2023, he will work on the tableware brand “HEGE” that utilizes Nitto Denka Kogyo’s technology, and the restaurant “HENGEN” (Kitaueno, Tokyo) that serves seasonal ingredients and porridge using HEGE.
