Seibu Railway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, President: Shuichiro Ogawa) has announced that from Saturday, January 13, 2024, it will be closed from Saturday, January 13, 2024 to improve the convenience of customers visiting the Ashigakubo Icicle. Nine down-bound express trains and five up-bound express trains will make a temporary stop at Ashigakubo Station on Saturdays and holidays until Sunday, May 25th.
“Ashigakubo no Icicle” is scheduled to be released to the public from January 6th (Saturday) to February 25th (Sunday), 2024. This large icicle, 200m wide and 30m high, was created by local people by sprinkling stream water on the slope of a mountain near Ashigakubo Station, and is one of the three major icicles in Chichibu. It will be lit up on Fridays and Saturdays and holidays during the period, and you can enjoy a fantastic atmosphere.
Advance online reservations are required to view the illuminations on Saturdays and holidays, but limited numbered tickets for train users are available for viewing on the day at the ticket gates of Ashigakubo Station, which is limited to customers using Seibu Railway and allows viewing without prior reservations. Tickets will be distributed from 9:00 to 19:20 (only on Saturdays and holidays, separate admission fee required).
Additionally, when using the limited express Laview, we will be running a campaign in which customers who purchase limited express tickets departing from and arriving at Ashigakubo Station on Smooz will receive SEIBU Smile Points as a gift.

About the “Purchase a limited express ticket in advance and ride the limited express train” campaign
We will be running a campaign in which all customers who purchase limited express tickets departing from and arriving at Ashigakubo Station from “Smooz” in advance will receive SEIBU Smile Points as a gift. Please take advantage of the limited express Laview, which offers a comfortable and relaxing journey to and from viewing the Ashigakubo Icicles.

3. Campaign details
(1) Customers who used the target train 1 to Ashigakubo Station during the target period, who logged in to “Smooz” or “Seibu Line App” and purchased a limited express ticket and boarded the train, will receive one payment. You will receive 10 SEIBU Smile Points for each purchase. (2) Customers who used the target train 2. from Ashigakubo Station during the target period, who logged in to “Smooz” or “Seibu Line App” and purchased a limited express ticket, will receive one payment. You will receive 20 SEIBU Smile Points for each purchase.
4. Participation conditions: You can automatically participate by logging into “Smooz” or “Seibu Line App”, purchasing a limited express ticket during the applicable period, and riding the train.
5. Notes
1. If you have withdrawn from SEIBU PRINCE CLUB at the time points are awarded, you will not be eligible for points.
2. Points will only be awarded if payment is made by credit card or PayPay when purchasing a limited express ticket.
3. If you refund a limited express ticket for an eligible train, you will not be eligible for points.
