“Menstruation communication stamp” for Generation Z, born from the voices received on TikTok live streaming
The femtech short video media “Women’s Hormone University (R)︎” provides knowledge about female hormones, information on self-care for women’s unique concerns such as menstruation, and introductions to sanitary products for users who are mainly Z-generation women. We are transmitting. In particular, the TikTok account with over 46,000 followers is supported mainly by Gen Z users who watch short videos and live streaming.
The reason I created this LINE stamp was the feedback I received from viewers on my weekly TikTok Live. Every time I perform live, I receive a lot of comments about menstruation-related concerns, but I’ve learned that I feel reluctant to tell my family, friends, and partners about my periods. Therefore, we started creating LINE stamps that can help communicate about menstruation by communicating menstrual symptoms and unwellness.
After that, during the live broadcast where we solicited opinions on LINE stamps, we collected requests and survey results from users, and in addition to things like the start and end of menstruation, we also received comments such as “Thank you to someone when they care about something,” A total of 16 types of stamps have been created that can be used in a variety of situations, including ones that can be used to express happiness and ones that can be used to respond when someone says something disrespectful to you.
