All suburban Pietro restaurants will use renewable energy
Further promoting initiatives towards a decarbonized society ……
Pietro Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, President and CEO: Yasuyuki Takahashi) is progressively moving forward with its goal of converting 100% of the electricity used at its facilities to renewable energy by 2025.
Starting in 2021, two of Pietro’s four suburban stores have been powered by renewable energy, and from November 2023, the remaining two stores will also be powered by renewable energy. These two stores utilize non-fossil certificates provided by Shizen Energy Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City *hereinafter referred to as Shizen Energy).
As a result, all suburban stores are now powered by renewable energy. [Current initiatives] ■Using 100% renewable energy electricity at all of our company’s suburban restaurants (4 restaurants) From November 2023, two suburban restaurants, “Pietro Eiinumaru” and “Pietro Kunitachi” By utilizing the non-fossil certificate provided by Shizen Energy, we will introduce renewable energy electricity to our store. In October of the same year, we installed renewable energy electricity provided by Borderless Japan Co., Ltd.’s Hummingbird Denryoku at the Pietro Jiromaru store.

From July 2021, solar panels installed on the rooftop of Pietro Building in Tenjin, Fukuoka City will be in operation.
This covers approximately one month’s worth of annual electricity used by the entire building. In addition to this solar power generation, By introducing renewable energy electricity, we are aiming for 100% renewable energy. ■As an environmentally friendly factory, the new factory is scheduled to run on 100% renewable energy.

In the fall of 2025, we will open a new manufacturing factory “Pietro Factory Park” in Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture. We plan to install solar panels on the roof of this building and generate our own electricity using sunlight.
Furthermore, it will also use renewable energy electricity and is scheduled to operate on 100% renewable energy by 2025, as planned. Since 2020, Pietro has set forth a vision for the future, “PIETRO VISION”, with the theme of “happiness and connection”.
We are conducting various initiatives. One of our goals is to “contribute to the health of the earth,” and we aim to create a decarbonized society.
