Part 1: Challenges to increasing efficiency, durability, and practical application of perovskite solar cells
[Purpose of the lecture]
Solar cells that use organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite-type compounds in the light absorption layer (perovskite solar cells) are expected to have potential as next-generation alternative solar cells because they exhibit high energy conversion efficiency at low cost. In this lecture, we will explain the basic knowledge of perovskite solar cells, simple fabrication methods, and the latest research trends. 【program】

Part 2: Evaluation of photoelectric properties and material
exploration of lead-free perovskite solar cells
[Purpose of the lecture]
The conversion efficiency of lead perovskite solar cells has improved to the point where it rivals that of silicon solar cells, and research and development toward practical application is progressing. Meanwhile, research is progressing on lead-free perovskite solar cells, which do not contain toxic lead, as the next solar cell, but many materials and processes are being considered, and little progress has been made in understanding them. In this course, the presenter will introduce approaches centered on evaluation methods for the development of tin perovskite solar cells and Ag-Bi-I solar cells. Additionally, automation of experiments (evaluation) is important to further improve search efficiency, and we will introduce recent developments.
