This book was co-authored with Makoto Takahashi of Acceptances, an NPO founded by parents of children with Down syndrome.

When a child with a disability starts school, we carry out “school activities” to prepare a better learning environment in cooperation with a variety of people, including partners, administrators, and school teachers. However, on the road to school activities, children may face unexpected troubles, such as not being able to proceed with the school according to customs or being accepted by the school of their choice. This book helps you learn about such troubles in advance, learn countermeasures that senior families have actually taken, and steadily move forward with your school activities by doing the to-dos that need to be done one by one according to your schedule. This is a book that you can do.
Children who need support and children who don’t need support are always by each other’s side and can laugh heartily with each other. We are releasing this book in the hope that this will be the first step towards a society where everyone can live comfortably.
