NHK Publishing will release Zaizen Naomi’s Living Saisai on December 6, 2023. Zaizen currently lives with his parents and son in his hometown of Oita. The long-awaited publication of the NHK program that follows the daily life of growing over 40 types of vegetables and fruits, harvesting and cooking them together, and enjoying the bounty of nature to the fullest. This is a scrapbook-like book that captures life in each season, with a focus on recipes illustrated by Mr. Zaizen’s hand-drawn illustrations.

Naomi Zaizen is active in dramas and movies. As a mother of one child, I moved to my hometown of Oita where my parents live, thinking about my child’s education.I continue to work in Tokyo and live and raise my children in Oita. In Oita, there is a piece of land that has been passed down to the Zaizen family for generations, and with my parents growing over 40 types of vegetables and fruit trees, three generations of parents and children have been living a life of enjoying and enjoying the bounty of nature.

Born in Oita Prefecture. Debuted as an actor in 1985. He has appeared in numerous movies and dramas, ranging from serious works to comedies.
