Maiki Yamazaki is a freelance bilingual pop rapper who is fluent in three languages: Japanese, English, and Portuguese. He also wrote the lyrics, produced and designed the costumes himself, and you can get a glimpse of his multi-faceted side in this album. Currently, he is performing live in the Kanto region, mainly in Kashiwa.

His first album, “GROW UP,” which fully showcases his originality, is a story that revolves around the major theme of growth. A groovy expression of positive and negative events, thoughts, emotions, and growth from various aspects. The full album, which includes 12 songs with a wide variety of songs, will be released digitally and on CD on the same day, December 10th (Sunday).
This work is a work that outputs the culture and music that I have input through my musical activities so far, and ideas that go beyond my roots. This work is a mixture of pop and hip-hop, which he describes as “pop-rap,” and this work fully demonstrates this style, and it will serve as a great foundation for further growth in the future. Contains multi-genre songs that gently and powerfully encourage listeners with worries and sufferings regardless of age, gender, or nationality in multiple languages. Please listen to this work while paying attention to the lyrics, which are a mixture of three languages.
The entire composition and design of the album was done by Maiki Yamazaki himself, and the jacket and CD booklet were photographed at the self-shooting photo studio “Mystudio.” The lively photos and self-designed art from the previously released songs “Catch my breath” and “U-EN-CHI” are also used in the album, which is a highlight of this album.
The lead song “Grow up” was composed by DJ AViA, a senior from Nagoya, and is a powerful song with a Latin sound. In addition to composing the lead song, the band also arranged, mixed, and mastered the entire album, which is one of the great appeals of this album, which has high expectations.
