Introduction background
In 10X, customers were charged a usage fee (transaction fee) linked to the sales of e-commerce sales conducted through “Stailer”, which placed a burden on calculating the monthly bill amount. Additionally, as the amount billed per customer is high, the company was considering introducing a system to ensure data accuracy more than ever and to improve operational efficiency in anticipation of future business expansion.
Effects of introduction and how to utilize it
・Significantly reduces the man-hours required to calculate usage fees “Stailer” charges customers a monthly usage fee that is the sum of fixed costs and sales-linked costs. Sales-linked expenses vary in rate depending on the contract details, so we created invoices for each customer one by one, checking the monthly sales and rate each time. “Scalebase” allows you to set rates (unit prices) for each contract without increasing the product master, so after introducing it, you can now generate billing data all at once by summarizing the sales of each customer.
・Elimination of spreadsheets in billing operations
Previously, invoices were issued based on spreadsheets that summarized individual contracts, sales aggregation, and management accounting elements. “Scalebase” automatically generates billing data based on contract data, making it possible to complete the entire process from contract management to invoice issuance. With this introduction, the spreadsheets used for billing are no longer necessary, and we have been able to eliminate the risk of multiple data entry and updates across multiple management tools, and related overwriting.
