There are regular cotton-blend supporters, but in the winter, your feet get cold, so we developed a product that uses heat-retaining material and adds the functionality of a conventional gradual compression supporter.
The heat-retaining calf compression supporter’s hygroscopic and heat generating principle is that the body constantly produces water even when the body does not sweat, and water is generated on the surface of the skin. The wool fibers used in this material can absorb moisture generated on its surface and generate heat. Functional nylon is also used for shortened nylon, which can also absorb moisture and generate heat.

■Easy to understand structure
Many of the conventional supporters were black, making it difficult to tell which was the front and which was the back, and we received many complaints from customers that they couldn’t tell which was the front. It was difficult to listen to the voices of customers at the factory, but since we started selling our products at our main factory, we have been able to listen to many requests at the counter. In response to requests from customers who are worried about their feet getting cold in the winter, last year we developed warm leg warmers with a focus on heat retention. The product used to have large loops to create a heat-insulating layer of air to increase heat retention, but demand for a heat-retaining supporter with a compression function that could be worn even during the summer was growing.
Therefore, an on-site knitting employee came up with the idea of creating a calf compression supporter with a compression function using a heat-retaining material that had previously been used in cold-weather tights, one of our areas of expertise, and put it on a knitting machine to create a prototype. At first, unlike cold-weather tights, they had a compression function, so we made samples and made adjustments over and over until we were finally able to complete them.
