Japan’s largest delivery service “Demae-kan” operated by Demae-kan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Hideo Fujii) has released a new TV commercial “Demae Samba” featuring Downtown’s Masatoshi Hamada. Broadcast will begin nationwide from December 7, 2023 (Thursday).

◎CDO Hamada, accompanied by a samba troupe, performs a delivery samba dance with an original arrangement.Before the photoshoot, Hamada was given a special “Demae-kan” business card with the title “CDO/Chief Delivery Officer” on it as a surprise gift. They were very happy and the shooting started in a peaceful atmosphere. Mr. Hamada, who sings and dances in the samba troupe, personally suggested dance

The filming was full of laughter.While the filming progressed smoothly, the studio was filled with laughter from beginning to end as Mr. Hamada interacted with the cinematographer and the samba team. As they were asked to say their lines in various patterns, there was a scene where the director unexpectedly made a sharp comment at Mr. Hamada’s blurriness! It was the moment when we got a glimpse of Hamada’s playful side. Q.This new commercial is called the “Delivery Samba Edition”, what was it like filming it? Last time, I was dancing alone, but this time there were so many people, so I think they looked like they were having fun! Q.During the filming, you had some interactions with samba dancers, how was it working together? It was great! Samba dancer. We were able to talk about many things, such as “What do you usually do?” and “How did you do last time?” Q.I think this is the first time in a while that you wore a happi coat, how was it? It’s been a long time! Are they going to have to do a project where they tamper with their happi coats again on some program? That’s what I think… Q.This time, you danced to the new song “Demae Samba”. What did you think? It’s a samba, but was my dance actually a samba? I have some doubts, but I talked to the director and he let me do whatever I wanted. I think the song is easy for everyone to remember. I’m still echoing in my head, “Don’t go all the way.” I hope you remember this. Q. Please tell me the tips for dancing samba well. The first thing to do is to raise your hand.
