On November 23, 2023 (Thursday, holiday), an unveiling party will be held at emCAMPUS FOOD in the emCAMPUS EAST complex located in Odori 2-chome in front of the city station. Visitors were thinking about various menu items such as pasta, okonomiyaki, and mazesoba. The “Cabbage Cheese Naan” from the Asian restaurant “Atiti” (Hamadachi Town), which is filled with plenty of cabbage from “La.Aichi Farm,” had even a young girl mouthing it wide open and munching on it. Sweets are also available. A visitor who sampled the cakes from Western confectionery shop Bel Canto
(Saiwai-cho), which made three types of cakes using locally grown Jiro persimmons, sweet potatoes, and roasted green tea, said, “It’s unusual for Jiro persimmons to be made into Western confectionery. It’s delicious,” he said while eating with a smile on his face. [Image 6

A visitor said, “The number of farmers near my home is decreasing, so I want restaurants to use local produce and support farmers.I hope that events like this will encourage more (local production for local consumption). I would be happy if you could help me.”

A marche will also be held at the venue where you can purchase agricultural products grown with care by the farmers who participated in the matching. Visitors enjoyed shopping while interacting directly with farmers, learning about recommended ways to eat them and the quality of this year’s crops.
