Talking about his thoughts when he founded Wao Corporation and his current business expansion, he said, “Youth is not an age. Youth is about continuing to take on challenges no matter how old you are. Even though Wao Corporation has been in business for 50 years, it is still the number one company in Japan. I continue to pursue my dream of becoming one.” Furthermore, she requested, “I would like you to convey the appeal of Wao High School from the students’ perspective.” In the Entrepreneurship Course, the students told them about the businesses they wanted to establish and received advice.

First-year students took on the challenge of making a paper tower as a special activity (integrated inquiry). This is a group work in which each student creates their own idea of “Wow High School” using A4 copy paper. The students worked together as a team while discussing questions such as, “How should we fold paper to make a tall tower?” and “What makes a tall tower unique?” and the students became more united as a team.
1st year students experience their first liberal arts exploration real class (2nd day)

During the schooling period, there is a class called “Liberal Exploration”, which is an original subject of Wao High School. In the economic exploration class “The Future of Currency,” which was the first real class for the first-year students, the students worked in groups to plan a “Cultural Festival at Wao High School that would get all the students excited,” and gave a presentation. The students learned about the role of tickets and experienced the process of creating value that customers are willing to pay for.
Fieldwork for plant and biological observation (3rd day)

The teachers in charge of each subject have developed creative lessons so that the students can experience real-life learning that can only be achieved during schooling. In the “Basics of Biology” class, we went to a river near the school for fieldwork to observe living things and plants. With their smartphones in hand, they researched the names of plants and scooped up living creatures in the river with nets to observe them.
