Miyagi Prefecture has both a rich natural environment such as the ocean and woodland, and an urban area with the largest city in the Tohoku region.
Miyagi Prefecture’s diverse environment is perfect for realizing your own lifestyle. People who have immigrated to Miyagi Prefecture so far have had dreams that could not be achieved just by living in the city, such as raising children in nature, opening an old folk house cafe, and working as farmers. There are many people who have achieved “the person they want to be” and “ideal life,” and are shining brightly in their own way.
The catchphrase, “Be yourself, that’s why Miyagi Prefecture” expresses the message that each person can achieve the lifestyle they envision within Miyagi Prefecture’s diverse regions.
Would you like to live in Miyagi Prefecture in your own way? ▼A new catchphrase was announced at the “10th Miyagi Immigration and Settlement Promotion Prefectural Council” on October 31, 2023! Guests: Panther Takahiro Ogata, Onai Taro, Kesenuma Pay! Mr. Miss. [Image 2

Miyagi Prefecture is recruiting members for the Miyagi Immigration and Settlement Promotion Council. In Miyagi Prefecture, we are
collaborating with the government, related organizations, companies, etc. as part of our “regional revitalization” initiative, which aims to create a virtuous cycle of “jobs” and “people” and create a flow of new people into the prefecture. We are working to expand immigration and settlement from Japan.
Governments, related organizations, businesses, and residents, including immigrants, will be asked to promote migration to Miyagi Prefecture, settle immigrants in the area, and develop a reception system and disseminate information in order to revitalize the area. We have established the Miyagi Prefectural Citizens’ Council for Promoting Immigration and Settlement in order to collaborate and cooperate.
This conference will focus on information exchange and seminars to learn about advanced initiatives, and we hope to develop it as a place to foster momentum through collaboration among members.
Would you like to work with us to create new initiatives that will lead to the next generation by leveraging the network of members? [Image 5
