Rank Up Co., Ltd., which plans and sells the original cosmetics brands “Manara,” “R Homme,” and “Acunal,” will hold an event on Tuesday, December 26th to teach the children (elementary school students) of its employees how to start writing. . This is an attempt to support mother employees by holding “Kakizome” at a company event, which is said to be a problem for both parents and children when it comes to homework during winter vacation for elementary school students. This event has become an annual event, and this year marks its fifth year. On the day of the event, employees who are good at calligraphy will be the instructors and will help the children learn how to begin writing and calligraphy. Please consider interviewing the participating elementary school students, their parents, and the representative, Iwasaki, as they work on the writing process.
Supporting employees’ children’s homework “Kakizome”
80% of Rank Up’s 100 employees are women, and about half of them are mothers with children. At our company, many of our employees balance childcare and work, so even moms do the same amount of work as other employees, and we encourage working moms to build their careers. This time, we will be holding a “Kakizome Class” to help parents of elementary school children solve the unique challenges they face. Employees with elementary school children commented on the beginning of writing, which is one of the homework assignments during winter break, saying, “My child never starts doing his homework,” “I’m not confident in my handwriting, so I can’t teach it,” and “My room is full of ink.” We are supporting mother employees by resolving these concerns within the company.
