The time defined by society is being updated at an accelerating rate, and words float on the surface without being able to keep up with this speed, and various judgments are made depending on the surface. Although it cannot be seen specifically, it definitely exists, and sometimes it speeds up or slows down.
For example, the timeline on a smartphone in your hand is like water flowing quickly, and the possibility of it affecting other people’s memories is close to zero. Watching the movement of someone’s breathing right next to you reminds me of the feeling of a gradual passage of time, like when you go to a new place for the first time. This exhibition depicts the moments that exist in each individual’s psyche – an intuitive experience of the “blinking” unconsciousness. By tuning yourself to what’s in front of you, you may be able to evoke sensations you weren’t aware of.
Held on Friday, January 12th! Walk & talk event “blink blank” The workshop “blink blank” will be held as a reception event for this exhibition on January 12th, the day before the exhibition period. Let’s take a walk around the gallery and observe the streets, and talk about the changing sense of time and the perspectives each person has. Please come dressed warm and comfortable for walking.

Currently enrolled in the Metal Modeling Laboratory, Graduate School of Art, Hiroshima City University. With the theme of “painting with metal,” he creates works using traditional techniques and materials. I believe in traditional crafts as a form of self-expression, like painting or singing. I want to depict the natural scenery that has stuck in my heart in a way that will stick in someone else’s heart as well.
