What is Lumiem?
Lumiem is a balloon developed by Material Balloon Yu Ltd. (Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture) in cooperation with the Yamaguchi Prefectural Industrial Technology Center over a period of about eight years. Fill it with helium gas, irradiate it with a black light for a certain period of time, and then release it into the sky to illuminate the night sky with a flickering, graceful glow.
