Synopsis
Thirty years ago, the supervillains won. After nearly wiping out the Avengers, X-Men, and other superheroes, Red Skull becomes President of the United States. Since then, the traumatized Wolverine (Akio Otsuka) has lost track of himself and wandered around due to the guilt of being the only survivor and the self-loathing of not being able to protect his fellow X-Men and mutant students.
Wolverine meets Sophia, a mutant girl living in hiding, and promises to take her to Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers, former members of the X-Men who are now estranged. When Red Skull and his henchman Crossbones frame Wolverine as a criminal and escalate the public’s hatred of mutants to a red-hot situation, Wolverine goes head-to-head with Red Skull and his brutal allies. I understand that there is no other way. However, a shocking and cruel truth shatters Wolverine… Marvel’s Wastelanders is a six-season series that marks the first collaboration between Audible and Marvel Entertainment. This work will be distributed simultaneously worldwide by Audible in Japanese, French, German, Hindi, and Italian, and will feature a star-studded cast in each language, allowing you to enjoy immersive audio entertainment.
Details such as cast and release date for “Doom” and “Marvel’s Wastelanders,” which are sequels to the “Wastelanders” series, will be announced at a later date. This innovative six-season podcast was launched in June 2021 in English.
