Amayadori General Incorporated Association
[Song of support for the loneliness of young people] Collaboration song “Amayadori” by Hari P and Amayadori Hatsune Miku Ver. and Ayaka Chawa Ver. will be released simultaneously on December 11th
~ I want to convey “a world where you can choose your own future” through songs ~
……
Since 2020, Amayadori General Incorporated Association (Hayama Town, Miura District, Kanagawa Prefecture, hereinafter referred to as Amayadori) has been working with over 100 people to provide housing support, counseling support, and support for attending administrative and hospital visits to young people aged 18 and over. I’ve done this for young people.
In the current situation where the suicide rate among young people remains high and there is not enough support for young people over the age of 18, Mr. Tsubasa Harihara, also known as Harry P, who supported this activity, wrote the song for free, and Amayadori wrote the lyrics. “Amayadori” sung by Ayaka Techawa was released on Amayadori’s Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@amayadori_official2020
(https://www.youtube.com/@harirozeo).
Through this collaborative song, we aim to make Amayadori’s activities widely known to young people who feel lonely and their supporters. [Image 1

■ Background to the release of the collaboration song “Amayadori” In Japan, once a child turns 18, they are considered an adult and are no longer eligible for support systems such as the current Child Welfare Act and Act on the Prevention of Child Abuse.
At the age of 18, a person is generally a student or entering the workforce, is financially unstable, and is preparing to become independent. Young people who can receive support from their families can take gradual steps towards independence, but young people who have no place at home or who have been subjected to some form of abuse should seek child counseling after the age of 18. There is a current situation in which people are losing support from the government and other places they can consult. Young people who are unable to rely on support systems and are forced to become independent financially and mentally are left with no choice but to do so, and as exemplified by Toyoko Kids, they turn to the night streets in search of a place to belong. As a result of wandering around, it is actually possible to become involved in crime or sexual violence.
Regarding this issue, the revised Child Welfare Act, which will come into effect in April 2020, has decided to expand support for young people over the age of 18, but it will take time for support to actually reach young people. Masu. Furthermore, no matter how many systems are created, there are still young people who fall between the cracks of the system and end up losing out on support. We would like to bridge the gaps in support so that these “hidden and isolated” young people will not be left alone and will be able to choose their own future.
In this current situation, we would like many people to know about Amayadori’s vision of “a world where you can choose your own future” and our youth support activities through the song to young people who feel lonely. Mr. Harihara, who agreed with the idea of Amayadori, provided us with the songs free of charge, and two songs of
“Amayadori” were completed: the Hatsune Miku version and the version sung by Ayaka Chana.

Ayaka Chawa comment
This time, I’m Ayaka Chawa, and I’m in charge of singing “Amayadori.” I usually compose songs with the intention of being a talisman for someone. When I was asked to sing this song, I read the lyrics, “Choose what you want to eat today” and “Choose what clothes you want to wear today,” and I realized that it was like a talisman that could be used in people’s lives. I was very happy that they entrusted me with singing the song.
I hope this project will help many people of my generation.

Amayadori Kikuchi comment
“In lonely times, music can help.”
Amayadri is currently accepting consultations through the consultation form on its official website.
It takes a lot of courage to tell someone you don’t know about your situation, worries, and troubles.
Our staff is always grateful for the courage of the young people who come to us for advice.
However, I also believe that not everyone has the courage to do so. When you don’t yet realize you’re in trouble.
When you can’t find someone to talk to.
When you are not sure whether to consult.
Through music, we may be able to connect with young people who have not yet been connected through counseling or who feel lonely. Amayadri’s vision is “a world where you can choose your own future.” I hope that those who listen to this song can imagine a future that expands based on the choices they make.
I wish I could gently nudge you towards the future in the direction you desire. I want to create something that can help with painful and lonely feelings, both when you can seek advice and when you can’t.
I want to create something that makes you feel the future after you touch it. With this in mind, Tsubasa Harihara, who supports Amayadori’s activities, will provide the song for free with the lyrics written by Amayadori’s representative Misao Kikuchi.
With Mr. Harihara’s input and the cooperation of Ayaka Chana and many other artists, these two songs were completed.
Crowdfunding is underway until December 25, 2023
Amayadori’s operations currently rely on donations and private grants. However, we are constantly receiving inquiries from young people, and in order to meet the needs of young people, build new homes, and conduct new activities, we will need more funds. Through this crowdfunding campaign, we would like to ask for your support to cover some of the costs, which will be used for the operation of the project. In addition, through crowdfunding, we aim not only to provide an opportunity for people to learn about Amayadori’s activities, but also to widely convey the reality that young people are suffering due to a lack of support.
Target amount: 2 million yen

■ The impetus for establishing Amayadori, consultation from young people who are “hidden and isolated” during the coronavirus pandemic The impetus for establishing Amayadri was a phone call from a young man who was “hidden and isolated” and said “I wanted to die.” In 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, there was a sudden increase in inquiries from alumni who had previously worked as high school school nurses for Amayadori Representative Director Kikuchi. While staying at home during the coronavirus pandemic, these children had trouble with their parents, or had no place to stay due to abuse, etc., and were sleeping in unsafe places.
In December 2020, we supported HATSU Kamakura, a venture support facility in Kanagawa Prefecture, with the aim of providing a safe place to stay, not only by offering consultations over the phone or LINE, but also by accompanying people to hospitals and government agencies. Established Amayadori. In April 2021, we opened Amayadori, a share house with support exclusively for women, in Yokosuka. To date, a total of 22 people between the ages of 18 and 29 have used the service.
Currently, we are engaged in three activities: “Komorebi,” an apartment-style step house where people can live with their children, regardless of gender, and “Korekara,” a consultation support service that will accompany you to government offices and medical institutions if necessary. .
■ Amayadori’s activities
1. [Women-only support share house Amayadori] Yokosuka City
At the same time as starting the organization, we rented a house in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
This is a home for girls who have lost their place to relax, gather strength, and take a step toward their chosen path. Capacity: 3 people. Since it opened in April 2021, a total of 22 people have used it. During their stay, we provide ongoing interviews and food support. Usage fee: Rent 24,000 yen – 28,000 yen – 32,000 yen
Common area fee 10,000 yen
2. [Apartment-type step house Komorebi] Yokosuka City
This is an apartment where you can move in with your children, regardless of gender. Although they have support, they are able to experience a life that is more like living alone, allowing them to take gradual steps towards independence. During their stay, we provide ongoing interviews and food support.
Usage fee: Rent 44,000 yen
Common area fee 12,000 yen
3. [Consultation support Korekara]
We offer a wide range of consultations, and if necessary, we will accompany you to government offices and medical institutions. We support the individual’s self-selection and self-determination by being attentive to their feelings such as, “I’m worried about going alone.” “I wonder if I can communicate my concerns effectively.” We also receive consultations from children who are unable to figure out what problems they are having on their own, so we sometimes help them figure out what to solve together.
To date, we have received consultations from around 100 people, and have responded to over 4,100 cases with careful attention to each individual.
