■Expressing Yuki Saito, “I want Yuki Saito, the entrepreneur, to bring about innovation, not the talent” Yuki Saito – Ken Uryu In order for our company to become the largest sports company in Japan, We feel that his knowledge and experience as a professional athlete on the front lines is needed, so we have appointed him as director and CIO. Above all, what he is looking for is “innovation.” It is the job of an entrepreneur to create something new in the world. I have high hopes that he will leverage his knowledge, ideas, networks, and perseverance, which he has had a variety of experiences as both a professional baseball player and a retired athlete, to bring about innovation in the sports industry. I want them to do their best for the future of sports and the future of seesaw games.
■Yuki Saito is enthusiastic, saying, “I want to take action not only in baseball, but in sports as a whole.”

・Yuki Saito I sympathized with Mr. Uryu, Chairman and CEO of Seesaw Game Co., Ltd., and appointed him as a director because I sympathized with his passion for athletes and sports. I seriously believe that sports are humanity’s greatest invention. I have experienced both glory and setbacks as an athlete, and by joining the team, I hope to bring about innovation in the sports industry. Of course I want to give something back to baseball, but I also have a strong desire to take action not only in baseball but in sports as a whole, so I teamed up with everyone at Seesaw Game Co., Ltd. . ■During the talk session, he looked back on his youth baseball days and said, “The small local newspaper article that was first featured in fifth grade was still a precious treasure to this day.”

・Yuki Saito During my youth baseball days, the joy I felt when I was praised by my coach and the frustration I felt when I was scolded by my parents became the driving force for me to work hard at baseball. What gave me even more motivation was when I was in the 5th grade of elementary school, when my work was first featured in a local newspaper. Although it is a small article, it was a very happy event for me. I think that being noticed is a joy not only for me, but also for today’s baseball boys and girls. In the “Youth Baseball Media Project Utilizing AI” announced this time, I will work to create a platform that will motivate young players to record their own plays as articles based on my actual experience.
■Thoughts on the new service announced this time – Ken Uryu

Currently, most sports companies are made up of people who are on the “watching side.” Athletes must have feelings that those of us who have never played professionally cannot understand. Therefore, by recruiting him, who has seen the scenery from the field and has an athlete’s perspective, we hope to create and develop more realistic content and services.

Yuki Saito Co., Ltd. is entering its third year from today. After retiring, I was able to get to this point with the help of many people. There are many athletes who are worried about their next career after retirement. In fact, you may even receive counseling. As a former athlete, I empathize with their thoughts and hope to build a system that can support them. I also believe that 2023 was a year of unprecedented excitement in baseball history. Wouldn’t it be interesting to see what the childhoods of some of the world’s top athletes were like? In order to continue to produce talent like the players who are currently livening up the baseball world on the front lines, as a businessman, I will support the future of the sports industry by creating innovations, including the new services announced today. I wish I could go.
