The VILLEDGE (initiator: Takashi Yoshida), whose vision is to “bring Japanese people back to their families,” is based on the blockbuster book “Kojiki Tensei (70,000 copies sold)” written by Sam of the popular Youtuber “TOLAND VLOG” with over 570,000 subscribers. “Sousei Ennichi”, a Japanese Easter festival that creates a new era based on the original work “Toppa”, will be held at Cool Japan Park Osaka WW Hall on Friday, December 22, 2023, on the winter solstice day. Together with over 2,000 sympathetic participants, we will create the dawn of a new era that evokes the spirituality and sensibilities of the Japanese people of the past and reconnects them.
The crowdfunding campaign we conducted ahead of the Sosei Ennichi event exceeded 20 million yen within a month of its launch.
We are currently aiming for the final goal of 30 million yen and will continue to challenge until January 4, 2024.

In the past, Japan certainly had a rich and mutually supportive society that was typical of human beings.
The Kojiki, a story that has been passed down since ancient times, describes how each god can live happily as a social community rather than through disparities, while demonstrating his or her own talents, and everything that is needed for society to run harmoniously, not just for oneself. is written.
However, its true meaning and teachings have not been conveyed to modern Japan, and before we know it, we have come to accept opposing values that create competition, division, and disparity.
True wealth lies in the connections between people.

“Ennichi” made this possible.
Ennichi (festivals) were originally festivals that connected local people, and were the cornerstone of local communities where everyone worked and raised children together like family.
This was divided by modern education, media, and social structures, and for a long time, the connections and ways of being Japanese were forgotten.
The reason why we live in a society that feels suffering and confinement today is that our sensibilities are closed off and we no longer have a culture of connecting with others.
That is why now is the time to hold the “Sosei Ennichi,” a stage play based on the Kojiki, in order to awaken the spirit of the Japanese people and reconnect the ties that are being lost.

However, old writings have been hidden and education has been rewritten, and now only the appearance of shrines and festivals remains.
A certain historian has analyzed that “Countries that meet these three conditions will have their ethnic groups wiped out in 100 years.”

2. A nation that replaces all value with things and money and loses sight of the value of the heart will perish.
3. A nation that has lost its ideals will perish.
Correctness can only produce competition and development, not true wealth. True wealth lies in the connections between people.

This time, we decided to express the original connections of the Japanese people that we have come to and the forgotten history as a stage performance that conveys with sensitivity.
