The snow park “Yeti” (Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture), operated by Fujikyu Group’s Pika Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture) at the second station of the southern foot of Mt. Fuji, will be open from Friday, December 15th to December 17th, 2023. We will be holding the “Geminid Meteor Shower Viewing Party” for three days only on (Sunday).

The snow park “Yeti”, located at the second station of Mt. Fuji at an altitude of 1,450 meters, is a perfect spot for stargazing with clear air and open skies. This time, we have set up a “Starry Sky Hammock” in a special area of the ski resort where you can watch the starry sky while swaying in a hammock. Enjoy a 360° view of the starry sky from your special seat. Furthermore, in order to make your stargazing experience even more enjoyable, in addition to a guide explaining the starry sky, we will also lend out PICA’s original planisphere and binoculars that allow you to see the stars clearly. In addition, a special area will have a “bonfire area” to warm your cold body, and limited food and drinks such as “roasted marshmallows” made with star-shaped marshmallows and “hot chocolate” will be provided free of charge. You can enjoy a moment of conversation while looking at the flickering fire, combined with stargazing. The Geminid meteor shower is one of the three major meteor showers. In 2023, it will reach its peak around 4:00 on December 15th, with dozens of meteors per hour. Enjoy a fantastic experience at Snow Park “Yeti” on the day when you can see the most meteors in a year.

*Adults = junior high school students and above, children = 3 years old to elementary school students, and seniors are 60 years old and above (proof required). *One-day tickets are valid until 10pm. For night games, entry is allowed after 3:30 p.m.
