This tournament is a competition aimed at children under the age of 10, with the mission of ``bringing the world soccer tournament to all children.''
The rules are one match of 10 minutes, and substitutions are allowed. In addition, the shot clock is 20 seconds, which is a completely new soccer rule that allows the goalkeeper to boldly participate in the attack as a field player. In order to value the independence of the children in this tournament, there are no managers or coaches on the bench, and the children win and earn points by working hard with their friends while thinking about strategies and substitutions on their own. By earning more points, children can aim to win the national tournament.
This practice that takes place through matches is extremely important, as it fosters children's ability to think and act on their own, and by nurturing potential soccer stars of the future, it will lead to the growth of the Japanese soccer world as a whole.
*Target ages 10 and under are those born after April 2, 2013, regardless of gender or nationality.
