Prefecture, Representative Director Toshiki Yamazaki) will once again be holding a “100 New Year’s Card Bath” event using thinned wood as a New Year’s bath event. 100 cypress New Year’s cards with New Year’s greetings from staff to customers will float in the men’s and women’s open-air baths.

The Hinoki New Year’s cards use thinned wood from Tokigawa Town, Saitama Prefecture, where Onsen Dojo’s head office is located. Tokigawa Town is actively promoting the use of wood, and the hot spring dojo is also conscious of local production and local
consumption of wood, such as using local wood when renovating its facilities. We hope that by using thinned wood as bathing trees at the Ofuro event, it will be an opportunity to raise awareness of “Let’s protect the richness of the land,” which is one of the goals of the SDGs, and the maintenance of local forests. We are holding an event. In recent years, e-mail and SNS have become popular, and the custom of sending New Year’s cards has faded, but we want you to warm your mind and body with good old Japanese culture, so we will be holding hot baths at 15 stores in 9 prefectures that have agreed to this event. They will be held simultaneously at the facility.
