This demonstration experiment is the second such experiment, following the rooftop parking area of NPC24H Minami-Osawa Station Parking in Hachioji City, Tokyo, which began in July 2022.

Contents of demonstration experiment
An autonomous energy system that combines 48 solar road power generation panels (approximately 50 square meters) developed by our company, Solar Mobiway, and an environmentally friendly storage battery (EV repurposed storage battery*2) made from recycled waste batteries from used EV vehicles. The system will be installed on the paved surface of our parking lot. During the day, the electricity generated by Solar Mobiway will be used to operate all the facilities on the premises day and night, and the parking lot will be
self-sufficient in electricity consumption. If the amount of stored electricity is insufficient due to weather conditions, we will use green electricity derived from non-fossil fuels as a backup power source.
During the demonstration experiment, we will acquire environmental data such as annual power generation amount, storage amount, and power consumption as well as solar radiation to verify the realization of ZEP. We will also verify the durability of Mobiway.

With the corporate philosophy of “environmentalism,” our company develops various energy-saving environmental products centered on solar road power generation panels, non-instantaneous switching technology for lithium-ion batteries, and energy-saving lighting technology, as well as deteriorating used EV batteries. We are involved in diagnosis and development of reusable products.
Additionally, as an environmental platformer*3, we are promoting collaboration with shareholders and business partners while working to contribute to creating a sustainable global environment for the next 100 years.
Tokyo Tatemono Group is aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by “reducing CO2 emissions by 46.2% by FY2030 (compared to FY2019) and achieving net zero by FY2050” in order to realize a decarbonized society. We have set medium- to long-term goals. At Nippon Parking, we are working to realize ZEP, convert parking lots to green
electricity*4, and promote the installation of EV chargers, bringing forward the plan set last year and achieving 100% renewable
electricity used in our business by fiscal 2030. We aim to cover this with energy.

In addition to contributing to the realization of ZEP as advocated by Nippon Parking in this parking lot, we are also working to further strengthen our role as an environmental platform company that aims to promote environmental improvements and build a sustainable society toward the realization of a decarbonized society. *1 ZEP [ZEP (Category 39 Registered Trademark No. 6623257)] is an abbreviation for Zero Energy Parking, uniquely defined by Nippon Parking. A parking lot that does not rely on power supply from an electric power retailer after conversion and the introduction of energy generation equipment.
*2 An EV repurposed storage battery is an environmentally friendly storage battery that is made by recycling waste batteries from used EVs using MIRAI-LABO’s technology in order to significantly reduce CO2 emissions during production.
