representative director: Midori Akasaka, hereinafter referred to as Florence) have concluded an agreement regarding “Support for counseling due to loneliness and isolation”.
We will proceed with the development of a model for a
loneliness/isolation counseling support project that utilizes AI and SNS, which has little precedent in public-private collaboration. Background of the four-party agreement
In recent years, in addition to changes in the social structure such as the declining birthrate, aging population, and increasing number of nuclear families, the coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the weakening of connections in the community, workplace, school, etc., and there are concerns about loneliness and isolation.
The national government’s “Priority Plan to Counter Loneliness and Isolation” calls for 24-hour multifaceted counseling support as seamless counseling support tailored to the situation, but there are issues with securing the number of counselors and consultation hours. There are issues such as limited availability, people who are reluctant to seek advice over the counter or over the phone, and few environments where people with concerns can feel free to seek advice. Given this situation, Sapeet, PKSHA, and Florence have decided to provide technical advice regarding information dissemination and consultation support, in order to cover the areas that are currently not covered. Sapeet primarily provides knowledge on generative AI and chatbot technologies.
Through this agreement, the public and private sectors will
collaborate and cooperate, proactively disseminate information on loneliness and isolation in Yamagata City, consider a system that can provide more familiar and effective counseling support, and promote consultations related to loneliness and isolation. We will provide support.

This time, Sapeet, PKSHA Technology, Yamagata City, and Florence will collaborate and cooperate on the following six items.
