From December 21st, ASKUL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Akira Yoshioka). :Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Yamato Kato) will introduce 318 new products, “PopPick”, of which 246 will begin operation.
PopPick is a new GTP (*1) solution equipment that transports shelves containing foldable containers containing inventory products to a PopPick station, and workers perform work at a fixed point to pick products in containers that are automatically transported by the PopPick station. . Compared to the conventional GTP solution, the product storage efficiency per unit area is higher and it is possible to stock a larger number of product items, so we aim to respond to the expansion of our product lineup, which is an important measure in our medium-term management plan. Introduced.
By introducing this solution, we will not only be able to respond to the expansion of product lineups, but also promote logistics DX to further increase the productivity of warehouse operations.

Upon receiving the order data, the robot transports the shelves to the worker’s fixed work position called the PopPick station. Next, the PopPick station automatically transports the container containing the product to be shipped from the shelf to the worker’s hand. Finally, workers only place the required number of items from the delivered container into the shipping container at a fixed point. We have recently installed 318 machines at AVC Kansai, and 246 machines will begin operation in the first phase from December 21st.
