In order to strengthen the sales of Tainan’s high-quality agricultural and fishery products in Japan, the Tainan City Government Agriculture Bureau held the “Tainan Agricultural and Fishery Products Promotion Exchange Meeting” in Osaka on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Tainan City Mayor Huang Weizhe also rushed to the event to promote Tainan agricultural and fishery products to wholesalers, supermarkets, and the media.

At the event, more than 20 wholesalers and distributors from Tainan City participated and introduced special products and popular souvenirs from each region in the south. Fruit tea made from pomelo yuzu tea from Madou Farming Association, mango beanflower made from mangoes from Guannan Biotechnology, sesame mixed noodles from Shanhua Farming Association, and Nandan District Fisheries using actual Tainan agricultural products. We offer a variety of dishes such as Taiwanese castella made from the association’s fish flakes, Tainan’s specialty coffin bread, Taiwanese castella made from fish flakes produced by the Nanxian District Fisheries Association, and buckwheat tea made from Yumin Golden Buckwheat. The participants were able to enjoy the deep taste and enjoy the charm of Tainan’s agricultural products. In addition, everyone enjoyed the Tainan City catalogue, an introduction to special products and popular souvenirs, and an exhibition that combined Tainan 400 and the Lantern Festival.
