Spesapo General Incorporated Association (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Keigo Suzuki) aims to create a society where children under medical care and their families can live with peace of mind and their families. , has released a community site “Medical Care Kids Room” that connects families and supporters. By providing this service, we will promote matching of families/supporters who have the necessary information with families/supporters who need the
information, and solve issues such as “regional information disparity” and “social isolation of families.” We aim to find a solution. ■About “Medical Care Kids Room”
Children under medical care require the use of medical equipment such as ventilators on a daily basis, and medical care such as sputum suction and tube feeding. Thanks to advances in medicine, the number of children requiring medical care has exceeded 20,000 nationwide, which is approximately double the number 10 years ago. Although social resources to support children in medical care and their families are gradually increasing, there are still limited places where families can feel free to discuss their concerns and exchange information. This site was created with the desire to create a place where families of children in medical care and their supporters can communicate with each other and provide advice from experienced supporters to families across the country.
