Mina Miyajima’s “Naruse Goes to Take Over the World” is a popular youth novel that sold over 100,000 copies in just six months after its release. Although this work is a debut work, it started with the grand prize in the novel category of the “Shizuoka Shoten Grand Prize”, the first place in the novel ranking of “Da Vinci BOOK OF THE YEAR 2023”, and the overall ranking of “Reading Meter OF THE YEAR 2023-2024” It has already won numerous awards, including 1st place and 1st place in the 2023 edition of librarians’ recommended books for junior high and high school students.

There used to be a Kinokuniya bookstore in the Seibu Otsu store. When I saw “Naruse Goes to Conquer the World” lined up at Kinokuniya Bookstores all over the country, I felt like the Seibu Otsu store and Kinokuniya Bookstore were connected across time.

Born in 1983 in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Lives in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. Graduated from Kyoto University Faculty of Letters. In 2021, “Arigatou Seibu Otsu Store” won the 20th “R-18 Literary Award by Women for Women” Grand Prize, Reader Award, and Tomochika Award. His debut work is “Naruse wa Tenka wo Tori Iku,” which includes the same work.
