To date, Kenkoku BCP has held five seminars and six ideathons. We have held five seminars since June 2023, learning ideas and methods related to new business development from various perspectives. [Image 17d43831-29-b6d14662ca1c140056ea-2.jpg&s3=43831-29-c800c66993813234d576ca96b817c006-3900x2603.jpg
We turn input from seminars into output and conduct an ideathon in which diverse participants exchange opinions on an equal footing and create new ideas for themes from companies located in the northern part of the prefecture.
#1, the first Ideathon, attracted 80 people to the venue. Children playing in Machinoko-dan, high school students, last year’s leaders, challengers who have been participating since last year, and challengers who are participating for the first time gathered together, and with coffee and snacks in hand, they seriously dug into the leaders’ challenges. The 5-hour event ended in the blink of an eye.
[Image 18d43831-29-1b20189d10718a311639-2.jpg&s3=43831-29-1eb76f5cc41023018ba0ebd8b8cf5a83-3900x2603.jpg
In #2, there were leaders and challengers who were participating for the first time, and a total of 55 people from children to adults came up with ideas. From this time onwards, the main focus was on coming up with ideas, and the three hours were so intense that they passed by in the blink of an eye. They used idea sheets, used lots of sticky notes, looked back at the paper they had written last time, changed their location to change their mood, and came up with ideas in a variety of ways.
In #3, we submitted ideas to formulate a tentative plan for the interim report meeting in #4. Each team was a mix of people who had been participating since #1 and #2 and people who were new to the team, and they spent a lot of time brainstorming ideas, organizing their projects and preparing materials for the interim report meeting. The 5-hour event ended in the blink of an eye.
In #4, we announced the results of the idea generation up to #3 and the vision for the final report meeting in #7. All teams have been preparing for their interim presentations by holding strategy meetings outside of the ideathon. On the day of the event, we received comments from the five commentators and challengers, and after the
presentations, we reflected on the results as a team. This was an interim announcement in which we can expect each team to make further strides as they prepare for the second half of the season starting with #5.
[Image 19d43831-29-5dfc7beb8a7c21e5de4e-2.jpg&s3=43831-29-2e41743f5baf39bfd095b69c215c7507-3900x2603.jpg
In #5, based on the feedback from the interim presentation, ideas were submitted for the final report session. As the direction was solidified and concrete discussions progressed, each team came up with various ideas, such as talking non-stop for more than three hours, going to different teams to interact with each other, refreshing themselves with coffee and snacks, etc. I ran through the 5 hour event.
In #6, final preparations were made for presentations at each team’s final report meeting. All teams made good use of the time spent coming up with ideas at the end, including teams thinking about the flow of the presentation, teams creating presentation materials and practicing presentations, and teams finalizing the direction.
At the final report meeting #7, we will present the results achieved so far. We are looking for participants to support the actions of BCP leaders and challengers. Please take a look at the business plan that we have been building for about half a year!
