(Representative Director and President: Shuki Kore-eda; hereinafter referred to as MJS), which develops and sells systems and management information services, has released a new accounting business DX app for small businesses (*1) called Pocket Accounting. From Monday, December 18, 2023, we will be offering “Bill Payment by GMO,” which allows you to pay your bill by credit card in BtoB transactions.

After downloading and registering to use the app, paper invoices can be captured as electronic data and saved all at once. In addition, AI-OCR automatically determines whether the bill is eligible for the invoice system, and the total scheduled payment amount can be displayed on the app, as well as payment for each bill by linking with external services. can also be done seamlessly. There is no installation fee, and monthly usage fees start from 1,500 yen (excluding tax).

Even if the seller company’s payment method is limited to bank transfer or promissory note and does not support credit cards, the buyer company can pay by credit card. The buyer company logs into a dedicated page on the website provided by GMO-PG, enters the invoice information issued by the seller company at the time of purchase, and pays with a credit card.
After the buyer company makes the payment by credit card, GMO-PG will make advance payment of the purchase price to the seller company by the due date. Since credit card usage fees are billed approximately 60 days after payment (*3), buying companies can extend the payment date by up to 60 days and improve their cash flow. The international brands that can be used are Visa and Mastercard, and other brands will be added in the future.
