Informatics Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 1310 Omiya-cho, Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki City, Representative Director Daichi Saito) has released GyroEye, the latest version of the Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR) systems. We announced that version 2024.1 will be released on January 15, 2024. This version has further improved the usability of the GyroEye Web Data Converter, which allows many users to convert data for AR/MR in a short time since its release in the summer of 2023, saying, “I can’t go back to the previous version.” , we have implemented new measurement functions that make it possible to measure errors between real structures and virtual design data, and strengthened security functions. GyroEye inserts can handle up to 5,000 inserts, and in addition, various functional improvements have been made, such as expanding the base logic that automatically divides floors in the case of large flat surfaces.

◆Functions scheduled for discontinuation In November 2023, Microsoft announced the end of Azure Spatial Anchors (hereinafter referred to as ASA), and the service will end on November 20, 2024. Due to this, please note that the ASA function installed in GyroEye 2021.2 as a “spatial anchor” will no longer be available after November 20, 2024. *2021.2 series: Initial product developed and launched as GyroEye Holo in 2018 *2023.2 series: Renewal product developed and launched as GyroEye in July 2023. Regarding parallel operation with GyroEye 2021.2 series version, which was announced in June 2023, this period will be extended until the end of June 2024, as there are still unimplemented functions in 2024.1, the latest version of 2023.2 series. I will do it. If you want to continue using unimplemented features, please use the 2021.2 version. Please note that this parallel operation period may change in the future depending on the development response status.
◆How to obtain each product – Users with GyroEye maintenance contracts will receive instructions on how to use GyroEye 2024.1 via email. -Customers who have newly installed GyroEye will receive instructions on how to use the 2021.2 version as well as the 2023.2 version of GyroEye by email.
・GyroEye 2024.1 apps for HoloLens 2/XR10 and iPhone/iPad can be downloaded from each store sequentially from January 15th.
