On December 17th, Yakiniku (Representative: Yusuke Akama) opened the world’s first yakiniku restaurant that combines cannabis and yakiniku in Jomtien, Pattaya, Thailand.

Akama, who used to run a Yakiniku restaurant in Kawasaki City, fell in love with the sunsets of Jomtien Beach, gave up everything and moved here in April of this year, and in October of the same year, opened a restaurant here to spread the deliciousness of Wagyu beef in Pattaya. I prepared.
For a while, we were in a pre-opening state with a lot of trial and error developing the menu, but now that the entire menu has been completed, we are planning a grand opening.
Recreational cannabis was legalized in Thailand in June 2022, so Akama, who loves cannabis, decided to combine cannabis and yakiniku. At our restaurant, we add cannabis to our dishes, and those who want to eat it can enjoy the aroma of cannabis and the deliciousness of Wagyu beef by sandwiching the meat with cannabis and eating it like a sandwich.
