Background of product development
Released 6 flavors including PERFECT PROTEIN and PERFECT EAA. The development was decided based on the desire to release a product completely supervised by Taguchi and the desire to release Zapro’s first WPI protein. The product will be released after about a year of development, with multiple MTG meetings with Mr. Taguchi, from selecting raw materials to prototyping flavors. In addition, since Taguchi likes refreshing flavors, WPI Protein has developed cocoa flavor, coffee flavor, and pine yogurt flavor so that you can drink it refreshingly even after training instead of a strong sweet flavor. PERFECT EAA emphasizes the balance between sweetness and sourness of each flavor, and has grape flavor, lemon yogurt flavor, and blood orange flavor that are easy to drink and do not feel bland even when mixed with 600ml of water. While minimizing sugar and fat content, we focused on everything with an image of perfection: a delicious taste that you can continue to drink, an affordable price, and a cool package design.

A generous amount of cocoa powder is added to give it a strong cocoa flavor, resulting in a refreshing taste that is not too sweet. In addition, we have masked the raw odor of the raw materials to make it easier to drink.

This is our first flavor of EAA x Yogurt. Although it is yogurt, it has a sour and refreshing taste, and the flavor is a little more like lemon ramune. It was developed as a unique product because Taguchi likes lemon yogurt the most among Zapro products.
・Blood orange flavor
It has a slightly sharper taste than orange, and has a slightly bitter aftertaste. The slightly bitter taste is similar to EAA produced overseas, and the taste is more like a blood orange-flavored supplement than a reproduction of actual blood orange juice. This is the most recommended flavor that Mr. Taguchi said he wanted to try first when developing EAA.

Taguchi is a physique athlete from Tokyo. One of the few IFBB professionals in Japan. He has been participating in domestic body makeup contests since 2014, and after winning numerous competitions, he won the 2018 OLYMPIA AMATEUR LAS VEGAS and earned Japan’s first men’s physique pro card. Currently working as a professional fitness car and personal trainer. Zapro has entered into a sponsorship contract from January 2023.
