About the product brand
Kurokabe Co., Ltd., which operates Kurokabe Glass Museum, has launched a new glass product brand. This work was realized through the knowledge of glass crafts that we have cultivated over the past 30 years since our founding in 1989, and by using comprehensive glass techniques unique to Kurokabe, including not only blown glass but also stained glass, fusing, and cut glass. A glass brand that expresses the beauty of glass to the fullest. The brand name is Ecrin. It means “jewelry box” in French.

About the glass doll
We are pleased to announce “Cinderella Hina” as a new branded iconic product. Hina dolls are authentic and traditional, yet pursue the transparency and beauty of glass. The main body was made in a glass blowing workshop, and the folding screen and props were made in a cold workshop, using Kurokabe’s glass technology to create a work that has both the purity, cuteness, and formality that only glass can provide.
