Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto (Location: Myohoin-mae-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City) will co-sponsor an English speech contest with Kyoto City Hiyoshigaoka High School (Ima-Kumano Hiden-inyama-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) on Monday, December 18, 2023. The 2nd Four Seasons Cup was held.
In this speech contest, which started last year and is now in its second year, eight students who won prizes in the in-school speech contest at Kyoto City Hiyoshigaoka High School gave speeches in English for about three minutes on a theme of their choice. In addition, as a guest speaker, a student from Kyoto City Saikyo High School Affiliated Junior High School, winner of the 17th Hiyoshigaoka Recitation (English recitation) contest for junior high school students, gave a recitation presentation. Approximately 60 people attended the event, including Hiyoshigaoka High School Principal Taizan and teachers, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto General Manager Fanny Gibre, employees, parents, and related parties.
